Educational Consultant John Powers recently visited the Chamberlain School. John visits periodically to meet with his students so they can offer their perspective on Chamberlain life. Visits like this allow consultants the opportunity to meet with the students treatment team and provide valuable insight on program effectiveness. We appreciate John’s dedication to his families and working supportively with our school.
Admissions Associate and Enrollment Co-ordinator Karen Silvia, was locked up recently to help raise money for the Muscular Dsytrophy Association. Karen’s donation’s will be used to help send a local child to summer camp. Ms. Silvia was able to raise $500.00 in contributions from F L Chamberlain School Staff. Way to go Karen!
Admissions Director John Mendonca will be attending Learning Disabilities of America 46th Annual International Confernce in Salt Lake City, Utah from February 24 thru 28th, 2009.
This Confernece promises to be another outstanding 4 days of the latest research and findings in learning disabilities, including specific workshops on Medical, Mental Health, Teacher Preparation, Public Policy, Adults, and much, much more!.
